The two highlights are a visit to the Little Rann of Kutch, the only place where you can spot the Asiatic wild ass and the second place us Gir National Park, popular for its tiger population. Along with this, you will also the very popular Somnath temples. The tour also includes bird watching at Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary.

Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1 : Ahmedabad - Dasada (90 kms)

After your arrival in Ahmedabad, drive to Dasada. Enjoy evening safari into the Little Rann of Kutch. This desert wildlife sanctuary is popular for being home to Asiatic wild ass, which is found nowhere else in India. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunset and bird watching at Bajana Lake. Overnight stay at Dasada.

Day 2 : Dasada - Gir National Park

Explore wildlife, in an early morning safari into the Little Rann.  Afterwards, continue to Gir National Park. On arrival, check-in at a forest lodge.

Day 3 : Gir National Park

Explore wildlife safari into the Gir National Park, during morning as well as evening. Dinner and overnight stay in the lodge.

Day 4 : Gir National Park

The next two days are going to be filled with morning and evening safaris into the park. Try to spot the big cats and other exotic animal species. You can also visit Devaliya, a special area for lions. Enjoy nature walk or bird watching here. You can also opt for a visit to extremely popular Somnath temples, Ahilya temple and Sun temple etc. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5 : Sayla

After breakfast, proceed to Sayla. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Relax for some time. Later, drive to a place where you spot huge flock of blackbuck antelope. Overnight stay in a heritage hotel.

Day 6 : Sayla - Ahmedabad

Enjoy early morning visit to Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary for bird watching. (NOTE: Boat ride is subjected to conditions). Drive back to Ahmedabad airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
